Khamla + Phan|Laotian Ceremony Engagement

Khamla & Phan had a traditional Laotian engagement (su kwun) in McDonough, GA. I am very happy to shoot this ceremony, I haven't seen Phan for about 7 yrs and she's still as beautiful and down to earth as ever.

The ceremony consist of the elders of both side negotiating a dowry and wedding plans.

The hand tying ceremony begins. Everyone takes turns to put the yarns on the couple's arm to wish them luck.
