My cousin K has finally found the love of his life. Congratulations to him and Ko for finally finding each other. They will be getting married next month in Ko's hometown of Chicago. Last week when she came to visit Atlanta, K's friends wanted to throw them a pre-engangement party. But they wanted the whole shabang of a traditional Laotian ceremony. Just in a shorter version. What normally takes 30 min took only 5 minutes. How sweet are his friends? They even had the wives cook and clean as they celebrated with their dear friend K. I hope K and Ko both enjoyed this fast version of their wedding next month. I guess....you could call it practice. Again, congrats guys. Welcome to the family Ko. =) And we have a big LOUD family!

 

 

The friends even did the traditional walking of the groom to see the bride. Umbrella and all!

This is bartering to let the groom in. Kind of like a dowry payment. They had a few laughs as all they had were a few dollars. lol
